Occupation:
Ph.D. Student
Company member since: 2008
Group nickname or notable reference: The Little One

Neil is from Tainan, Taiwan, which is also Ang Lee’s hometown (The director of Brokeback Mountain). With his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Chung Cheng University in Taiwan, he worked as an Application Engineer for an integrated circuit (IC) design software company for 2 years. He moved to the United States in 2002 and finished his Master’s degree at George Washington University in 2007. Now, he is working on his Ph. D. degree in Biomedical Engineering. When Neil was a freshman at college in 1993, he joined the dance club at school and learned street and hip-pop dances. Winning the 2nd place in a dance competition got him selected into the school dance team in 1994. Since then, he has established his dance ability on various styles: Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Chinese Opera, and etc. For his part-time job, Neil was an energetic and professional aerobics instructor in step, kickboxing, and hi-low impact. His enthusiasm in teaching aerobics was to combine different dance styles in his choreographies and to make his students enjoy his unique classes. In 1997, he led 600 people to perform a 20-minute aerobic dance number at National College Sport Game.

I like to keep my life active. Cycling and kayaking are two of my favorite outdoor activities during summer time. I enjoy traveling and flying. I have been to Bali, Thailand, Singapore, and Korea. I will certainly add more locations soon! I’m so glad I conquered my fear and tried out and made the DC Cowboys. My motto in life is to grab the chance, enjoy your life, and always look on the bright side!
