Hometown:Ramsey, NJ
Occupation:
Physician, Chief Resident
Company member since: 2010
Group nickname or notable reference: None yet but I guess we will see.
Matt prides himself on originally being from New Jersey. He moved to Virginia for college in 1999 where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Chemistry and minored in French at the University of Richmond. 10 years later he is still residing in the Commonwealth after completing medical school at Virginia Tech. Currently, Matt is in his last year of family practice residency training and is serving as chief resident. He has been fortunate enough to have delivered over 50 babies and helped the underserved communities of Western Virginia. Matt spent his entire life involved in athletics. He found a passion for dance later in life due to its ability to ameliorate stress. His prior experience includes dancing in groups both at the University of Richmond and Virginia Tech (Ngoma, The Contemporary Dance Ensemble). He feels his greatest accomplishments are the relationships he has with his family and friends who have supported him on his journey. He looks forward to the new service and social opportunities the DC Cowboys will open up to him!
