A native of Dalton, GA, Daniel attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he earned his BA in International Relations and Economics. After graduation, he was awarded a Watson Fellowship to travel the world and study cultural motivations of marathon runners. During this time he lived and researched in Cairo, Athens, Tanzania, Dubai, Cape Town, and Sydney for almost two years. He then moved to DC with a passion for international development and currently works for an international development consulting firm in downtown DC. Daniel speaks German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. In addition to learning foreign languages, his hobbies include marathon running, biking, happy hour, singing, hiking, traveling…and dancing.
