Hometown:Booneville, MS (no shit)
Occupation:
Regulatory Lobbyist, Specializing in Environmental Issues
Company member since: 2005
Group nickname or notable reference: The only thing that’s stuck so far is “The Redneck Martha Stewart” after repairing our broken trailer in Calgary with a two by four and a role of tape. Duct Tape.

A native Mississippian who moved with his partner to DC in 1999, Chuck holds a BA from the University of Mississippi and a Masters from American University in International Environmental Policy. He picked up some modern and jazz dance during his undergrad years, and after swearing he’d never wear a cowboy hat or two step again after leaving home, he has joined the DC Cowboys in 2005. His performance credits include years of music and musical theater work, more often providing the music than moving to it. Chuck travels extensively for work to international locations, and in his down time enjoys adding piano to his repertoire of musical instruments, rollerblading in heavy traffic, and any other activities that involve over-exposure to both the sun and his partner.

Favorite DC Cowboys performance/event?
The Rodeo dance event in Calgary Canada when our music kept skipping, so we mingled with the crowd while the fixed it. Tips were good that night.
Favorite DC Cowboys number?
Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy
Favorite DC Cowboys moment?
The two minutes after the end of our pop-up trailer broke off with three cowboys and an un-named fourth person trapped inside it. I grabbed my camera to document them clawing their way out of the hole, like extras from the Poseidon Adventure. As soon as it’s framed, I’m selling it on eBay.
Name something that freaks you out.
Actually, I’m a performance ham. There’s nothing better than entertaining a crowd, but the ten seconds before I go on stage are a full on adrenaline train wreck for me.
Name someplace you’ve always wanted to visit but haven’t.
My partner and I travel often, so we’ve ticked off many of the spots on the globe we want to see. Next year, we’re planning to go to South Africa, since it’s the only continent we haven’t been to.
Favorite guilty pleasure food and/or movie?
Any form of fast food, but I feel no guilt. I’m a total agnostic when it comes to food.
What’s in your nightstand?
We just bought a new house, so I don’t have a nightstand at the moment. We’re storing all our essentials across the room.
Biggest turn-on and turn-off?
I’m the son of a dentist, so the first thing I notice, good or bad, is teeth. Real, straight ones are best, removables are way down the list in kinky territory.
What's your type of guy?
Let’s see, he’s 6’1”, Indian, way too pretty, and way too smart. I’ve had him for 11 years now. Back Off. Don’t make me cut you.
Favorite cocktail?
Jack on the rocks
Favorite country music performer?
When I left Mississippi I swore I’d never listen to C&W or wear a cowboy hat again. Times change I guess. These days I like most cross over stuff, just don’t ask me who they are.
Other activities/hobbies/teams/interests or information you'd like to add:
I tend to travel in out of the way places, rollerblade in heavy traffic, and find other semi-precarious means of passing the time. My partner, bless him, either joins in or dusts me off In the aftermath.
