Group nickname or notable reference: Chandy

Originally from Florida, Chad moved to the DC area in 1997 after earning his bachelor’s (University of Florida) and master’s (Indiana University) degrees in journalism. He now works as an art director for TMG, an award-winning design firm in downtown Washington. Chad’s lifelong interest in dance lead him to formal instruction in ballet, jazz and tap. During high school and college, Chad performed in numerous musical theater productions and worked backstage for the Hippodrome State Theatre in Gainesville, Florida. Chad’s interest expanded to the country-western arena in early 2001. In addition to performing, Chad enjoys rock climbing, parkour, trapeze school, hiking, biking and being a couch potato (long live DVR!)

Favorite DC Cowboys performance/event?
America's Got Talent. I loved the whole experience. The highlight was nailing my back flip on national TV. Second favorite was the Sziget Festival in Budapest.
Favorite DC Cowboys number?
Some of my all-time favs are the “Broadway” songs (The Aggie Song, All That Jazz, You Can’t Stop the Beat, Mamma Mia). I also like “If My Heart Had Wings” and “Lady Marmalade (Moulin Rouge)”
Favorite DC Cowboys moment?
The entire AGT experience, although finding out in Vegas that we made the Top 40 was probably the most exciting. Other memories usually involve Caleb… whether he’s trying to pick up straight boys in rural Pennsylvania, being knocked down by a mule in New Orleans or being called a “Show Girl” in Reno.
Name something that freaks you out.
Blood. Anything having to do with medical procedures.
Name someplace you’ve always wanted to visit but haven’t.
Australia
Favorite guilty pleasure food and/or movie?
Donuts! If there’s a box around, I cannot stop myself from taking one. For movies, I would have to say cheesy musicals from the early-80s, “The Pirate Movie,” “Grease 2,” and “Xanadu.”
What’s in your nightstand?
Cologne and shoe polish… nothing too exciting. I need more than a nightstand for all that…
Biggest turn-on and turn-off?
My biggest turn-ons would be flirting and kissing. He’s gotta know how to make me laugh and kiss well. Turn-off? Attitude and disrespect.
What's your type of guy?
Not too picky when it comes to specific physical attributes. I look for someone who is in shape, has a great smile, good sense of humor, relaxed attitude and a genuine interest in me. It helps if he’s a fan of the Cowboys.
Favorite cocktail?
Vodka
Favorite country music performer?
Dixie Chicks
Other activities/hobbies/teams/interests or information you'd like to add:
I enjoy working out, watching TV, going to the theater, hanging out with friends and anything "active"... I'm game for pretty much anything and willing to try things at least once.
